Prince's Trust Enterprise Programme: support to set up your own business

Interested in setting up your own business?

If you’re aged 18-30, unemployed or working fewer than 16 hours a week, the Enterprise programme can help you decide whether self-employment is right for you.

How it works

The programme can give you:

  • Training to give you a taste of what you need to know and do to start your own business
  • One-to-one support to help you to explore and test your idea and turn it into a business plan
  • Support to apply for a low interest loan of up to £4,000 for a sole trader and up to £5,000 for a partnership to help you to start your business*
  • Mentoring to help you develop your business or access other opportunities in education, training, work or volunteering

Our Explore Enterprise workshops are four day courses that are held in selected areas in the North West of England and cover a range of topics such as sales and marketing, tax and accounting, business planning and more.

The workshops are free to attend but please contact our team to book onto a session. You will be asked for your contact details and invited to attend an Information Session ahead of the workshop to give you more details of the course.
