Things to do for adults and older people
Whether you want to meet like-minded people, take up a new hobby, boost your skills or are looking for a challenge, you're sure to find something which fits the bill.
There are lots of activities, groups and events that take place across Trafford and the surrounding areas for people of all ages and abilities. From allotments to libraries, lunch clubs to sports clubs, getting away from it all or getting online, there's so much to explore!
There's also an events guide where you can find out what's happening in Trafford this week and beyond. Concerts, exhibitions, training sessions, theatre, comedy, fairs and open days - you'll find all this and much more!
If you require specialised support, Trafford has many day support services who provide social and recreational activities in day centres and community venues. Transport may be available and some day support services specialise in supporting certain conditions like learning disabilities, dementia or acquired brain injury.
Aged 11 to 25? Check out our Youth Zone for more things to do!
Got children? Visit our Things to do pages for parent and child groups, sports and more!
Additional needs? Find Things to do for young people aged 11-25 with SEND!
We know people who attend activities are the best source of information on how that activity is run. You can help other people choose the right activity for them by sharing what you know.
Leave a review
Do you know of any groups or activities that you enjoyed and could access? Why not leave a review for other people to read?
If you have a registered account, at the bottom of each listing there is an option to leave a review and a rating. You can even let others know if you found their review helpful with a like or comment.
All reviews and comments are moderated before they appear on the site. If an issue is raised via a review or comment we will make the provider of the activity aware of the content. This way, you can have a positive influence on what goes on in Trafford.
