My household offers a warm and friendly atmosphere with a variety of toys and different areas to explore. In the playroom, children have access to lots of age appropriate toys such as dressing up clothes, books, bricks, role play, art and craft as well as entertainment like the Wii with lots of fun games to choose from. My garden is large and the children can explore with outdoor toys such as sand and water play. I have a playhouse with slide and chalk boards etc.
Throughout the day the children are encouraged to choose which activities to play as I feel children learn better when their interests are engaged. We take every opportunity to explore our environment and our local parks, walks and nature reserves and we make regular visits to local national trust parks.
